Community Benefits

Bundy Village and Medical Park will revitalize the current site by taking a former industrial site and transforming it into beautifully-designed buildings interconnected by pedestrian promenades and green space. High-quality landscaping will add to the visual enhancement and the greening of the community.

Quality Jobs
By providing a unique destination for medically advanced research facilities and medical care, the project will help serve the Westside’s growing need for medical services and high-quality, high-paying jobs.

Senior Housing/Affordable Senior Housing
The newly created senior and market-rate units will give an opportunity to the many future employees of the Bundy Village and Medical Park – as well as its patients and customers – a rare opportunity to live, work, shop and receive high quality medical care without ever having to get into a car.

Open Space
Nearly 40% of the project site will be dedicated to open and green space, providing residents, workers, patients and neighbors with a lush and serene space to enjoy the outdoors.

Quality of Life Amenities for the Neighborhood
In addition to providing the community with more landscaped space, the project also proposes to provide other enhancements to the quality of life for the entire community. Bundy Village and Medical Park proposes to move its utility services underground, eliminating the unsightly wires and poles currently on the site, and to provide 24/7 security to patrol the residential, retail and medical campuses.

Additionally, neighborhood-serving retail that may include a specialty food market, cafes, dry cleaners, and a pharmacy will give both residents and the local community access to services they need within walking distance.

Improving Traffic Flow
Bundy Village and Medical Park has conducted an extensive traffic analysis, which outlines a significant traffic enhancement program to benefit the surrounding community. Such improvements will include: installing additional left-turn lanes, creating an accessible curbside area to allow for easy access by medical patients, combining above- and below-ground parking to accommodate medical center patrons and employees, onsite resources for carpooling and vanpools, parking for car sharing services, and easy access to existing public transportation networks and future mass transit projects that will serve the Westside.
